A few months ago, I broke up with a friend as this friend had insulted me. For days, I had wondered if I had made a mistake in breaking that friendship when I should have tried to talk it out and sort out the problems. I did regret not handling the situation well. Or so I thought....

Yesterday, on a mutual friend's FB profile I saw this friend commenting on a rather controversial subject and also get into an unnecessary argument which I gathered, was a total stranger to this friend too.

This stranger even commented that he was glad to never have to meet this person. It was then that I realized that I had not made a mistake in walking away. Had I continued with this one-sided friendship, I would have been miserable everyday for I wasn't getting the respect I deserved.

Sometimes it's good to just walk away, especially when you have this chance to do so. Had the situation been different and I didn't have a choice, I would have no idea on how to handle this person.

I'm glad I had the option of walking away silently.

First things first: I have seriously no idea how to promote my books. Damn, who knew all this was going to be so hard? On top of everything, formatting a self-published book is so hard. Should have searched for a publisher instead.
Most importantly: How does one promote books?

Second: Starting a new story and have the opening scene, but deciding whether or not to put certain aspects in it is so confusing. On one side, the vagueness could be a put off factor on the other giving away too much would ruin the surprised in the story.
Too complicated. Have to go with the flow, but who knew writing could be so hard?

Well, tomorrow is another day.

Searching for names for characters can be such a hassle sometimes.  Usually I give my characters working names that I then end up changing after the story is done.
But this time I want to start a story giving my characters permanent names. But nothing suits the traits I intend my characters to have. The names have to have a bit of fantasy in them as well as a Romantic quality.

Damn! I always attract the wrong sort of people. Can't go for a peaceful walk without being followed by some assface.
